Most known for their HBCU heritage collection, YK1K had built strong local credibility and a clear brand voice, but to scale their digital presence and e-commerce performance they needed a refined visual language that matched their quality and story. Their website and social channels needed cohesive imagery that communicated the brand’s authenticity, lifestyle appeal, and fashion credibility. That's where Southpaw Media stepped in.

Our goal was really to elevate their visual identity — to make sure everything from their website to their Instagram felt cohesive, intentional, and true to who they are as a brand.

We focused on creating imagery that captures their streetwear aura, their cultural roots, and the strong sense of community they’re known for in Dallas. Every photo and piece of content we produced was designed to resonate not just with their loyal local audience, but also with new customers discovering them online for the first time.
